RARE Large Art Deco / Prohibition era American sterling silver double barreled whiskey hip flask. A dual chamber flask, or twin flask, with two separated compartments each capable of holding a pint of liquor. Decorated with engraved monogram of initials ARS. Divided down the center by a raised ridge at front and back. Topped with two hinged lids with twist and lock closures and cork lined interiors. Definitely suitable for holding two types of liquor at either compartment, great for styles of whiskey, a scotch or bourbon on either end. Meriden Brittania Co. merged with International Silver in 1898 and incorporated their bird mark until the 1930's.
