Large Belle Epoque era French sterling silver liquor flask with original leather holster case, for hunting or riding. Comprised of a cut glass tapered bottle decorated with fluted wheel cut paneling, engraved with leaves and berries. The large sterling silver knob lid and cup with an applied band of leaves. Gilt vermeil interiors. Retains original stopper. In overall good condition with general commensurate with use and age. Fully marked with the post-1838 French Minerva 1st standard hallmark indicating .950/1000 silver (95% silver and higher than .925 sterling). Silversmith marks are for Henri Lapeyre, active 1895 to 1923 at 49 rue Meslay, Paris. Flask measures 10 5/8" length. With leather holster, measures 11" x 3 5/8" wide. Cup measures 2 3/16" diameter x 2 5/8" height. Silver weight is 122.4 grams.
