Set of 6 antique French sterling silver clad shot glasses. Each shot glass is enhanced with lovely engraved intaglios of florals and sinuous ribbon. Encased in quality French sterling silver mounts with gilt vermeil finish, decorated in Art Nouveau scrolling foliage motif. Hallmarked with the French standard Minerve 1st mark, which depicts the goddess Minerva with a number 1 beside her to indicate a silver content of .950/1000 (almost 95% pure silver and higher than .925 standard for sterling) Also, bearing maker's mark for silversmith Edmond Molle, active from 1898-1919 at 114 rue du Temple, Paris. The glasses are in good antique condition. Shot glasses measure 2 1/8" height x 1 1/2" diameter. Housed in the original fitted presentation box, showing wear commensurate with age. Box measures 7 3/8" x 6 1/4" x 2 1/4" height.
