Exquisite pair of antique Black Forest hand carved wood pedestal compotes, tazzas. The solid wood base is fully dimensional, finely hand carved with a pair of birds beside a tree stump. The wide bowl carved to resemble a cluster of large oak leaves. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with use and age, a couple of small edge chips to a few leaf tips. Slight variance in size as these pieces are hand made. One tazza measures 10 1/4" length x 5 5/8" width x 5 7/8" tall. The other is 10" x 6" x 5 5/8" tall.
