Exquisite antique French Art Nouveau era bronze inkstand by the French sculptor Albert Marionnet (1852 - 1910). Featuring a hinged inkwell crafted to resemble a cluster of leaves and berries. Sitting on a pink/mauve and white marble base, perfect for writing accessories and trinkets, pens and pencils. Surrounded by a decorative border also richly embellished with berry and leaf accents. Signed A. Marionnet. The base is stamped A. Marionnet, Depose Paris France. Inkstand measures 10 1/8” length x 5 1/4” deep x 3 1/2” height. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use.
