Monumental antique Third Republic French Sevres porcelain baluster vase. Stunning turquoise blue / Bleu Celeste ground decorated with a spray of gilded flowers and leaves. Finished with gilded trim. Stands 13 7/8" tall
In good condition with some wear to the gilding. Bearing Sevres marks on the base. Including “Republique Francaise" R.F. within a circle, commemorating the republic, topped with Decore a Sevres and abbreviated date number for 1889. Also marked S.89, for Sevres 1889. And Nationale Sevres Manufacture surrounding an image of a potter at work, all inside a circle.
