Antique French Samson Paris porcelain armorial plates. An exquisite Chinese export style set of 4 plates featuring a central coat of arms flanked by lions under a crown, surrounded by blue and gilt floral borders on a pale blue gray celadon ground. Hand painted with the Swedish noble familial crest of the Wrangel family. Marked with a red pseudo Chinese character mark for the Parisian ceramics factory of Samson, Edmé et Cie. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use, no chips or cracks. Measures 10 1/2" diameter.
