Pair of antique Belgian ceramic mantle vases designed and produced by BFK Boch Frères Keramis workshop. The vases feature a distinctive blue glazed ground decorated with white iris flowers and green foliage, with gold accents, styled in the typical Jugendstil or Art Nouveau aesthetic. Each vase is adorned with gilded bronze or brass mounts, including intricate, scrolling handles and a decorative base. Signed at the bottom with ‘BFK’ and the decoration number ‘221’. This mark was in use from 1880-1920. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use, typical surface craquelure. Vases stand 12 1/2" height x 7" across the handles x 5 1/2" wide.
