Antique 19th century French gilt bronze and wood crucifix wall mount. Beautifully modeled patinaed bronze corpus christi figure on a rosewood cross. Surrounded by an ornate gilt bronze framework on a rosewood backing. Richly decorated with elaborate scrolling foliate and rose garland festoons. The top with a descending dove representing the Holy Spirit. The back with a loop ring for hanging. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Measures 18 1/2" x 10 3/8" x 1 3/8" deep. The corpus measures 7" x 4 1/4" wide.
