Antique mid-19th century French Palais Royal perfume bottle. The perfume body is crafted from hand blown white opaline glass enveloped in an intricate filigree mount richly decorate in Rococo style motifs including acanthus foliage, rocailles and C-scrolls. Resting on an ornate ball footed base. The hinged lid features a distinctive bear finial on the crest. Opening to reveal a cut glass stopper. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. There is a crack to the neck of the bottle and a chip to the base of the stopper as shown. Dimensions: 5 1/4" height x 2 3/4" at its widest.
