Antique 19th century French wax seal, desk stamp. Solid clear glass tapered handle mounted with a silvered metal band patterned in neoclassical ornamentation. Terminating to a matrix with GB initials. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Measures 3 3/8" x 7/8" wide, the matrix measures 5/8" x 1/2".
