Antique mid-19th century French rosewood and lemonwood inlaid box. The front with a push button closure that opens to reveal a pocket watch holder. Red moire lining the interior, the hinged pocket watch compartment lifts up and can be displayed upright by the brass support located at the back, with storage below for chains, keys and fobs. The box measures 4 3/8" x 3 5/8" x 3 1/2" height. The pocket watch surround measures 1 1/2" diameter. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Stable crack in the veneer at very bottom of the base. *Pocket watch in the pictures is not included in the sale.
