Rare c.1900 Antique French crystal liquor service by Baccarat. The service comprises of two carafes and twelves shot glasses in vibrant green chartreuse colored crystal. The carafes are topped by clear crystal faceted stoppers. These stoppers are numbered to correspond to matching numbers found on the base of the bottles, indicating they are original. All housed in the original gilt bronze tiered caddy, resting on four looped feet and centered by a stylized swirled handle. The same handle is illustrated in the 1903 Baccarat catalogue as well as the shape of the carafes. A stunning set and in very good condition with no chips or cracks. No signature, the pieces are unsigned early Baccarat predating the 1936 acid etched logo mark. From 1860, the famed cristallerie used paper labels, which often got lost, worn or washed away. In 1936, the acid-etched trademark logo became applied systematically to every product replacing the old paper label technique.
