A charming antique Victorian era pocket watch stand. Featuring a spangle art glass vide poche trinket dish in a lovely cranberry pink color. Composed of clear cased glass over cranberry pink interior with white exterior layer. Adorned with mica flake inclusions in a darker pink shade, decorating the dish in a pattern resembling coral. Enhanced with a crimped or ruffled edge. The trinket dish is framed in gilt ormolu mounts embellished with scrolling foliate and rosettes. Centered by a circular well with hook to suspend a pocket watch, photo locket or miniature portrait. Stands 7" tall x 5 3/8" wide x 5" deep. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with use and age. No chips or cracks to the glass. *Pocket watch in the pictures is not included.
