Charming antique Victorian era trinket box or powder jar. Likely Bohemian, attributed to Moser or Harrach. Featuring rich ruby glass hand painted in raised enamel. To the lid is a scene depicting birds in a tree with the sun in the background. Hinged brass mounts circle the box with an S shaped clasp at the center. Mounted on a base with four scroll and ball feet. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use, no chips or cracks. Stands 4" tall x 4 1/8" wide, 3 1/8" diameter opening.
