Antique 19th century French gilt bronze wax seal, desk stamp. Featuring a motif of a shamrock, embellished with hand blown glass accents in a stunning purple color atop a curled stem. The matrix bearing a monogram of interlaced initials MA or AM. Measures In overall good to fair condition with general wear commensurate with age and use, there is a flaw in the center leaf of the shamrock, appears to be a bruised crack in the glass. Measures 3 1/8" x 1 1/2" wide, the matrix measures 3/4" diameter.
