A unique and fun artisan cuff bracelet hand crafted from two antique French sterling silver forks. The tines connect together to form a closure around the wrist, the back is hinged. In good vintage condition with general wear/scratches commensurate with age and use. The bracelet is made from antique forks hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark, in use from 1838, which guaranteed the finest quality silver of .950/1000 purity (95% silver and a higher grade than the standard .925 for sterling, an oval guarantee mark and silversmith mark of Nicolaus-Pierre Béguin, active 1840-1847 at 6 place Dauphine, Paris.
