Antique German Hanau silver and cut crystal perfume bottle. Cylindrical form with faceted shoulder, the body decorated with swirls and floral elements. With a wheel cut 24-point starburst decorating the base. Mounted with hinged silver knob lid and collar. Beautifully decorated in repousse with Art Nouveau style iris flowers. Retains the original glass stopper. The silver mounts hallmarked for Weinranck & Schmidt, Hanau, Germany, circa 1890s. Also bearing the French weevil import mark for silver items from French treaty countries, used from 1893-1984, indicating a silver fineness minimum of .800/1000. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. No chips or cracks. Stands 6 1/4" height x 2 3/4" diameter at the base.
