
Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette by Thomas Edwards. Of rectangular form with engine turned decoration, reeded sides and applied circular cartouche monogrammed with initials MAS. Opening to a silver gilt interior with hinged grille pierced and engraved with flowers. Hallmarked for London, 1839. Maker's mark for Thomas Edwards. Measures 1 1/4" x 7/8" x 1/2". Weighs 18.9g. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use.
