Below are pictorials of Egyptian figures of a vulture, perhaps for the vulture goddess Nekhbet, protector of Upper Egypt and especially its rulers. Stamped 900. Bearing a matrix of a cross in an oval. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with use and age. Looking closely at the cherub figure, it appears one wing is lacking. Stands 2 1/4" height, the matrix measures 1 1/8" x 5/8".
