An exquisite antique French sterling silver set of 12 tea or coffee spoons. Patterned with a lovely art nouveau floral motif along the handles and back of the service ends, with finely detailed morning glories and leaves on sinuous vines. The bowls enhanced with gold vermeil finish. Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark indicating a silver content of .950/1000 (of 95% silver and a higher finesse than .925 sterling). Bearing maker's mark for silversmith Eugène Doutre Roussel, active 1911-1913 at 118 rue Vieille-du-Temple, Paris. Teaspoons measure 5 1/2" length. Total silver weight is 253.9 grams. In overall good antique condition with some wear and surface scratches commensurate with age and use. Housed in the original presentation box measuring 14 1/4" x 9 3/4" x 2 3/8" height.
