French silver mounted Limoges bowl by renown porcelain manufacturer Raynaud & Cie. Dating to the early 20thc. Featuring polychrome decoration with Compagnie des Indes style of birds, butterflies, flowers and foliage finished with a silver rim. This particular pattern was a special edition made exclusively for Tetard, as a collaboration between Raynaud and the famous silversmith firm. In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the porcelain, one or two minute indentations to the silver rim. Hallmarked with the French crab mark used from 1838 to 1962, which guarantees a minimum fineness of .800/1000 silver and maximum of .950 silver. Bearing makers marks for Tétard frères, active from 1903 at 4 rue Béranger in Paris. Measures 9 1/4" diameter x 3 1/2" height.
