Charming Belle Epoque era antique to vintage French sterling silver and cut crystal 7pc liquor set. The set comprises of six cordials or shot glasses, and one stoppered decanter, all housed within the original fitted presentation box. Featuring exquisite cut crystal with engraved floral intaglios and deep wheel cut fluting. The sterling silver mounts enhanced with elegant neoclassical Louis XVI ribbon and reed pattern. Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark, in use from 1838, which guaranteed the finest quality silver of .950/1000 purity (95% pure silver and a higher grade than the standard .925 for sterling). Bearing maker's marks for silversmith Charles Barrier, active 1905-1923 at 7 rue Réaumur, Paris. In overall good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. A couple of tiny dimples to the silver collar on the decanter. The presentation box shows its age. The decanter stands 10 1/2" total height. The glasses are 2 5/8" height x 1 7/8" diameter opening. Box measures 12 3/4" x 10 3/4" x 5 3/8" height.
