Superb Belle Epoque era antique French 18k yellow gold stick pin. Featuring a crescent moon embellished with three sparking diamonds in star settings. Housed in an old presentation box. Hallmarked with the eagle's head control mark indicating 18k gold content, in use in France from 1838. Also bearing a maker's mark, appears to be that of jeweler Athanase Decombis, active 1888 to 1928 at 37 rue Debelleyme, Paris. Measures 2 5/8" length. In very good condition. The presentation box shows wear commensurate with age.
