Antique Napoleon III era French silver dip pen. The handle crafted from solid carnelian with an ornate silver nip holder patterned with feathers and intricate engine engraving. The silver terminal with a fully dimension putti figure holding a cross. Measures 6 1/2" in total length including the nib. Hallmarked with the French head of the wild boar for .800/1000 silver. In good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use, there are two splits in the silver collar near the back of the nib.
