Antique French .800 silver salt cellars from the Belle Epoque era. Comprising of four open salt cellars with matching salt spoons. The salt cellars are decorated with serpentine shaping, patterned with asymmetrical cartouches framed by scrolling foliate, rocalles and flowers, resting on four acanthus feet. Enhanced with gold vermeil interiors. Handles adorned with alternating C-scrolls and flowers. All housed within a fitted presentation box. The salt cellars and salt spoons bear hallmarks of the head of the wild boar for a minimum finesses of .800/1000 fine silver. Each piece bearing a maker's mark for silversmith Eugène Lefebvre, who worked between 1896-1910 at 14 bis rue des Minimes in Paris. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Total silver weight is 91.1 grams. Salt cellars measure 2 1/4" length x 1 5/8" width x 1 1/2" height. Spoons measure 3" length. Box measures 8 3/4" x 8" x 2 5/8".
