Exquisite antique French 7-piece liquor service. Comprising of a stoppered decanter and six matching cordial or shot glasses. Each piece is of clear blown glass with finely engraved flowers and insects highlighted in gilded accents of a style typical of the Aesthetic Movement. Unsigned, however the style and form of the glasses lead us to attribute this set to the verreries Daum Freres, Nancy, circa 1900. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with use and age. The mouth of the decanter with a small flea-bite to the gilded area, and two small corner chips to the top of the stopper. The decanter stands 8 ½” tall, 3” length x 2 3/8” width at the base. cups or shot glasses measure 2 1/8” height x 1 5/8” square at the base, with a 1 3/8” diameter opening.
