Antique mid-19th century French Palais Royal perfume bottle caddy. Comprising of a vanity stand crafted of white alabaster stone and gilt ormolu framework, supporting two perfume bottles and jar. Featuring a pair of Grand Tour perfume bottles of green opaline glass. Each with gilt ormolu hinged lids and collars, topped with verre eglomise miniature portraits of Parisian landmarks the Arc De Triomphe Du Carrousel and Palais Bourbon. Both retain their glass stoppers. To the center is a cranberry glass lidded powder jar or trinket box encased in gilt ormolu framework decorated with leaves. The lid is topped by lattice work with finial handle in the form of a monkey sitting on a turtle. In over good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. There is some discoloration to the eglomise portraits, wear to the Arc De Triomphe as shown. The cranberry jar having some flaws: there are some chips to the inside rim of the lid, a piece of the latticework is lacking on the lid, and to the bottom portion there appears to be a carbon deposit within the blown glass as shown. The stand measures 8" length x 4" wide x 4 3/8" total height. The cranberry jar measures 3" diameter x 3 1/4" height. The bottles stand 2 3/8" height x 1 3/8" diameter.
