Antique 19th century French wax seal desk stamp. A finely casted silvered bronze sculptural example in the form of an eagle with wings outspread clasping a sphere labeled FRANCE. The base with matrix letter O in the form of a serpent clasping its tail. In overall good antique condition with general wear and signs of use. Measures 3 1/8" height x 1" wide 7/8" deep, the matrix is 9/16" x 7/16".
