George III sterling silver vinaigrette by silversmith John Lawrence. Rectangular form, with a unique repousse geometric design with engraved accents. Opening to a silver gilt interior with pierced and engraved grille. Hallmarked for Birmingham, 1816. Maker's mark for John Lawrence. Measures 1" x 13/16" x 3/8". Weighs 9.4g. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Some impressions in the raised high points of the geometric design, has a slight gap at the close.
