Antique Gorham sterling silver serving ladle spoon for Tiffany & Co. In the Aesthetic pattern Morning Glory, introduced by Gorham in 1865. An absolutely stunning, rare, three dimensional pattern that is hard to find. One of several naturalistic patterns produced during this era that featured full blown flower blossoms and leaves. This exquisite piece features a gold washed bowl, elegant scallop shaping, pierced with star forms and leaves, accented with bright cut engraving and topped by beautiful ivy embellishments. The end of the handle is a three dimensional morning glory flower. Hallmarked with lion, anchor and letter G for Gorham, this mark was in use circa 1875 - 1900. Marked for Tiffany & Co. Measures 8 1/8" length x 2 3/4" wide bowl. Weighs 72.1 grams. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age/use.
