Antique English equestrian brass inkwell, circa 1890. Features a jockey cap resting on crossed riding crops with an adjoined vertical horseshoe dip pen rack. The jockey cap features a hinged lid that opens to reveal a removable blue opaline glass ink reservoir. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Measures roughly 5 7/8" height x 5 1/8" wide x 5 7/8" deep. Glass insert measures 1 1/2" x 1 3/8" diameter.
