A rare antique Victorian era perfume bottle. A unique piece in the form of a sword or dagger suspended from a chain for a chatelaine. The tapered cut crystal body is enhanced with faceted panels and tapers down to a point. Encased in silvered bronze or brass metal mounts. The hinged lid fashioned to resemble an ornate hilt. Opening to reveal a tiny glass stopper. Of beautiful detail and quality craftsmanship. In overall good antique condition with general wear to the silvered finish. The crystal bottle is in good order, no chips or cracks, some roughness to the edge of the faceted cut from laying down. Measures 5" length.
