Exquisite engraved decoration with geometric forms and florals. Blank escutcheon cartouche. Opens to reveal a silver gilt interior with pierced and engraved grille decorated with scrolling around a center rose. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1863, maker's mark GU for George Unite. Measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/2". Weighs 30.1g. In overall very good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use.
