Exquisite engraved decoration with geometric forms and florals. Blank escutcheon cartouche. Opens to reveal a silver gilt interior with pierced and engraved grille decorated with scrolling around a center rose. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1863, maker's mark GU for George Unite.
