A superb antique French Palais Royal wax seal wheel with 6 different intaglios all engraved into colorful semi-precious stone matrices. Prong set into an ornate gilt metal spokes, each decorated with a colorful flower motif. In good antique condition, some wear/scratches to the intaglios commensurate with age and use, one side of the wheel is missing three small flowers. Measures 1 3/4" diameter. The matrices are 7/16" x 3/8"
