Antique Viennese enamel and dore bronze table top screen. A charming miniature, though a large example in size for this type of piece. Measures 17" across the length x 13" height. Features three hand painted enamel on copper panels depicting mythological scenes. The center panel features a scene of Bacchus, the god of wine and merrymaking, attended by cherubs and putti with a lush forest background and bountiful grape harvest. Flanked by scenes of two goddesses, Venus and Diana perhaps. Beautiful vibrant colors and detail. All framed in ornate gilt bronze mounts richly decorated in Rococo style foliate and rocailles. In good antique condition, no chips or cracks.
