
19th century antique Wedgwood pale blue jasperware cache pot vase adorned in gilt bronze mounts. c.1898. The vase features a classic urn shape with a rounded body adorned with intricate gilded bronze including a decorative band around the top rim with ribbon bows and floral garlands. Flanked on the sides with impressive lion's heads with ring handles. Garlands and other embellishments around the body, finished with an intricate patterned base. Impressed uppercase Wedgwood and England with date letter A. In overall good antique condition, no chips or cracks, the interior and base are stained from use. Measures 6 1/2" length x 6" wide x 5 3/8" height. Note the third picture was taken facing a window with natural sunlight showing the blue color more accurately than the other pictures that were taken in a photography tent with lamps.
