Art Deco French sterling silver 4-piece hors d'oeuvre serving set. Comprising of a spread knife, spoon, flat server and 4-prong fork. Housed in the original presentation box. Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark, which depicts the goddess Minerva with a number 1 beside her to denote a silver content of 950/1000 (of 95% silver and a higher finesse than .925 sterling). Bearing maker's marks for silversmith Ernest Prost, active 1923-1963 at 7 rue Reaumur, Paris. In overall good vintage condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Knife- 6 1/2" length; Spoon- 5 5/8"; Flat Server- 5"; Fork- 5 1/8". Total silver weight is 148.5 grams. Box measures 8 1/8" x 7 1/8" x 1 1/2" height.
