Art Deco era French sterling silver clothes brush set. Comprising of a long and round hand brush with natural bristles, each with intricate guilloche enamel in a lovely shade of purple framed by sterling silver mounts. Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark indicating a silver content of .950/1000. Maker's mark for silversmiths Bloch & Eschwege, active 1920-1936. In overall good to fair vintage condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. The long brush having cracks to the enamel as shown. The round brush with some scratches to the surface of the enamel. Round brush measures 5 1/8" length x 3 3/8" width x 1 5/8" height. Long brush measures 6 5/8" length x 1 3/8 " width x 1 1/2" height.
