Art Deco French glass powder jar / vanity dresser trinket box by Andre Delatte, Nancy. Circa 1920. The powder jar is of round shape, slightly bulbous in center, complete with matching lid. Composed of clear glass acid etched with a 'chipped ice' textured ground, decorated with thick hand applied polychrome enamel in shades of pale chartreuse yellow, black and with depicting stylized roses and foliage, outlined in gold enamel accents. Acid etched with the “Delatte Nancy” signature. In overall good condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Measures 3 1/2" tall x 4 3/8" diameter at its widest.
