Antique Art Nouveau era French silver and amber cigar or cheroot holder. Comprising of a silver collar mounted at the end with a gold vermeil finish rim. Richly decorated in raised relief with a fairy surrounded by spring flowers. Tapered cherry amber mouth piece. Hallmarked with the French head of the wild boar, in use from 1838 to indicate a silver content of .800/1000. Bearing a silversmith's mark. In overall good antique condition. The cigar holder measures 3 1/4" length x 11/16" width, with a 7/16" diameter opening aperture.
