Antique .900 silver figural wax seal or desk stamp dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. In the form of bearded gnome wearing a traditional pointed cap, standing atop a rocky formation adorned with a beautifully cast lizard or salamander. Crafted from .900 silver, and bearing hallmarks, possibly German in origin. The bottom matrix monogrammed with interlaced initials ER or RE in stylized font. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Measures 2 5/8" height x 7/8" diameter matrix.
