Large antique French faience Aesthetic Movement jardinière in a charming yellow glaze. The body features multi colored glazes and raised relief decoration. Further decorated in tube lining with a charming motif of a golden butterfly flying above pink blossoms and leaves in greens and turquoise glazes. Turquoise color to the interior. Mounted with bronze or brass dragon handles and stylized rim, the base with four ornate feet. Marked with impressed numbers on the base. Stands 11 5/8" height x 16 1/2" length across the handles x 7 3/4" wide. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Some lacks to the tube lining reliefs and some flakes to the glaze.
